HUET Philippe

Philippe Huet, born April 4, 1945 in Le Havre, is a French detective and historical novels writer. He was awarded French literay prize “grand prix de la littérature policière” in 1995 for La Main morte. Huet also was a journalist and editor for the daily newspaper Paris-Normandie. He wrote numerous thrillers set in Le Havre, especially in the port area. Several places in the city can be identified when reading his novels.
