L.-F. Céline (1894-1961) a rédigé une partie du roman Mort à crédit dans l’ancien hôtel balnéaire Frascati. Certaines évocations maritimes ressemblent au paysage que devait apercevoir l’écrivain depuis ce lieu.
Dans ce même roman, le personnage d’Auguste, inspiré du père de Céline, est natif du Havre et a la passion des bateaux.

L.-F. Céline (1894-1961) wrote part of his novel Death on Credit in the former seaside Frascati Hotel. Some descriptions of the sea are similar to the landscape that the author probably saw from there.
In the same novel, Auguste, one of the characters inspired by Céline’s father, was born in Le Havre and is passionate about boats.
